On Lenten Wednesdays, we are spending quiet moments pondering the great depths of the seven statements our Savior spoke from the cross. What do these statements tell us about Jesus? He is a Savior like no other. We see this clearly as Jesus takes unbelievable care of his mother, even as he suffers agony on the cross. As the son of his mother and the Son of God, he provides for his mother Mary and perfectly obeys his heavenly Father.
