Emily Hills began her U.S. Army career as a wheel vehicle mechanic and recovery vehicle operator. While serving in combat, she saw the important role the AH-64 Apache helicopters played in support of ground forces and knew then that is what she wanted to do. She shares her story of being a soldier on the ground, becoming a pilot, and the passion she has now for saving boots on the ground from enemy combatants as an Apache pilot. James Webb and Paul Martinez are Army Rangers and joined Kat, Robert, and Mike as guest hosts on this episode. We talk about women in combat and the effect women pilots have on ground troops in a combat "hot" situation.
