Sean Jarvis is a retired sergeant major with the U.S. Army who served as a cavalry scout on multiple deployments and several assignments, including the operations sergeant major for 1st Security Forces Assistant Brigade (1st SFAB).

Sean talks about a night that leads to a driving while intoxicated (DWI) and the set back it took on his career and mental state. Losing a good friend and mentor in combat took an additional toll on him. He knew he needed to get himself straight and he shares how he overcame these initial challenges by taking the tough love former leaders gave him and using it to get back on track.
