Nothing divided the classroom like a group assignment . While the intention might of been teamwork its outcome was always pure anarchy. And it was in the throes of such scholastic chaos that a lone middle schooler stared into the brink of a reading level far beyond her classmate’s comprehension. It may be years later, but Molly Bailen can still recall that moment as her introduction to the young adult novel “The Master Puppeteer.” So let’s flip to the back cover and report on what she has to say about this.
