Zillow just named the Tampa metro as the #1 hottest housing market for 2022. Not surprisingly, Florida cities dominated much of the ranking list for the second year in a row along with North Carolina and Texas. According to Zillow, the housing market overall is expected to remain hot, maintaining many of the same sales trends as 2021. As a Tampa Realtor who's lived and worked in the Tampa Bay area for decades, I wanted to weigh in on this news and share insight on what's coming in the new year for buyers & sellers.
