Since launching in music, Shawn’s been a shape shifting songwriter and performer, a historic A&R executive, an entrepreneur and more. His latest Soul Brother No. 1 casts him in yet another new light. And I check in by Zoom with Lydia and Laura, the magnificent Secret Sisters. On their newest, Mind, Man, Medicine, they took full advantage of the historic recording studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, just down the road from where they live. It’s yet another triumph.
