Today’s conversation is with Emily Adler Mosqueda, and we got super real about postpartum depression; what it is, when it happens, how long it can last, and why we need to change our perspective about it. We discussed the need to work on breaking stigmas, because mental health is not a weakness, and most importantly learning to love and accept ourselves where we are at.
A little bit more about Emily in her own words: I’m a native Oregonian, bilingual and bicultural pediatric speech-language pathologist with over ten years experience working with kids and their families birth to five. I work as a clinical supervisor for the University of Oregon. I’m a mom of two girls and my husband is a dr of Chinese medicine. You can continue to follow her on Instagram at @emily.adler.mosqueda.
