Sorry for the delay, Tom's been taking a few mental health days. What a great segway into this month's book! This month's book is Shen Psycho-Emotional Aspects of Chinese Medicine by Elisa Rossi. This book presents explains how the emotional, mental, and physical elements of Chinese Medicine in illness are extremely effective therapy in dealing with cases where the alterations of the shen are both obvious and subtle. The book focuses on the psycho-spiritual aspects of patients' conditions and is purposely constructed to facilitate practitioners' formulations of diagnosis and treatment. It reflects throughout the patient-practitioner relationship, resources, various characteristics, inherent problems, and qualities of acupuncture.
