Over 7 years, I  struggled with chronically over exercising due to poor body image. During this time exercise, was my coping mechanism, outlet, and way to compensate for consuming certain foods, to look a certain way, and to fit into a mold created by society.

Over exercising and addiction to exercise lead me to deal with chronic pain, fainting, low heart rate, and various other mental and physical health related issues at a very young age. There came a point where I was living for my body image. This became my tipping point.

Over this past year, I have worked to recover from this unhealthy relationship with my body and exercise.  A huge part of healing my relationship with myself and recovering from my eating disorder has been targeting over exercising.

Whether you have struggled with over exercising or living a completely sedentary life, we have to find a middle ground. As humans we are vessels of energy. Movement is medicine but we have to have intentions to nurture ourselves, give ourselves love, and provide ourselves with the opportunity of health and wellness. In this episode I uncover my journey in recovering from an eating disorder and share tips that have helped me to create a healthy relationship and routine of exercise.

Sending love, light, & good energy!
