In this first Doctormentary interview of the new season, Reesh talks to Dr. Saya Nagori, a board-certified ophthalmologist, serial entrepreneur, telemedicine expert, social media influencer and speaker based in Washington, DC. She is most well-known for being the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Simple Health, a telemedicine platform that allows patients to do everything from renewing contact lens prescriptions to getting birth control right from home. Saya recently launched a media company focused on women’s health called FemHealth. She also started an annual conference for physician-entrepreneurs called the Medicine Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIE) Conference. In this episode, Saya discusses her failed businesses leading up to Simple Health, advice for people interested in starting a business, how to deal with rejection, and tips on how to think less and do more. Lots of gems in this one, especially for anyone interested in entrepreneurship! Enjoy!
