Disney gets dark in this week's review of The Hunchback of Notre Dame! With stunning music, a wretched human villain, and incredible visuals, Hunchback might have been too much for kids in 1996. Most of the Media Ghouls were kids at the time and they're here to share their personal journeys with the film, and how it might have taken a little maturity to fully appreciate it. The film's themes of religion, genocide, and human rights make this one worthy of discussion...at least until somebody brings up the gargoyles.
