How much do you know about investing biases?  How do our personality traits affect the way we invest or create biases? How do we mitigate the risks of these biases?

We welcome Mr. Michael M. Pompian (CFA, CFP, CAIA) who has written several behavioral finance books to talk to us about investment biases in our latest episode release.

Michael is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Sunpointe Investments. He has been advising clients for over 25 years. Before launching Sunpointe, he was a Partner and National Segment Leader for the private wealth business at Mercer Investment Consulting, responsible for overseeing US$8 billion dollars. Michael fine-tuned his advisory skills as a Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch, a private banker with PNC Private Bank, and an investment analyst at a single-family office.

We also broke down Michael’s Morningstar article and study titled: What investor biases that the conscientious are most prone to.
