After a brief Press Cuttings break (which you can still listen to here) we are joined by our very own theme tune composer Kav Crossley, and we're discussing a film known for its incredible sound design, A Quiet Place (2018).
Sound designed by Erik Aadahl and Ethan Van der Ryn, A Quiet Place is a 2018 American post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film directed by and starring John Krasinski. Written by Bryan Woods, Scott Beck and Krasinski, the plot revolves around a father (Krasinski) and a mother (Emily Blunt) who struggle to survive and raise their children in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind extraterrestrial monsters with an acute sense of hearing.
