This week on an #EducationReboot episode of #MaxOutTime: Turner Elementary First Grade Teacher Torren Cooper discusses teaching the whole child amid the coronavirus pandemic.

 

The native Washingtonian and second-year educator went into teaching to become an extension of the parent in the classroom, and takes pride in the frequent check-ins that he does with his students and families.

 

During one of the most difficult years in history, Mr. Cooper describes how many of his students struggled with technology, distance learning and some even tested positive for COVID-19.
