This week on the podcast, we discuss best soundtracks, Brian Depalma, things to stream, movies with a 3rd act problem, and maybe just maybe a little Tarantino Jerrod Carmichael mashup one of us is giddy over.

Lots on the calendar to discuss this week. Of course, once Quentin Tarantino hits the media circuit, rumors and hullabaloo abound. The newest revelation is that me might be co-teaming on a new project with Jerrod Carmichael. What?

After Matt ventured into the vaults and watched Can’t Hardly Wait, he thought it was high time the duo talk about the best and favorite movie soundtracks (not scores).

Brian Depalma has a new movie coming on Friday so we took at trip down his IMDB to see where he stands in the lineage of American filmmakers.

Even though one Matt didn’t follow the rules, we thought we’d try to give you some new streaming options to enjoy amongst yourselves as one of us talks about new streaming releases for June 2019.

And big topic of the day….3rd acts. Some people crush them bringing their masterpiece to its grand finale. Other times, that landing is not so smooth. Warning before this segment. WE ARE NOT SAYING 3RD ACTS ARE EASY AND WE ARE MASTERS OF THEM. Far from it. This segment is just to discuss flaws that we have noticed in our times as movie watchers. There are no failures here. I mean, we are talking about completed movies. That, in and of itself, is a mark of esteemed respect on this podcast.
