Welcome to Getting To The Truth In This Art. This episode's guest is Moss Head.

Moss Head is the producer and visual artist name of Jorge Santos. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Santos took an interest in art at an early age after learning about surrealism and psychedelic art. In 2013 he moved to Baltimore, Maryland to attend college at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where he began to hone his craft in both digital and traditional painting as well as sound art and music production. Jorge’s work now expands in the forms of illusionist painting, illustration, design, sound design, live music, live painting, sculpture, uv installations, and occasional murals. His work has been seen in the street walls, live painting events, and underground music venues of Baltimore City. In 2016 Jorge started working with local non-profit art organization Creative Labs, where he collaborated with and assisted local artists and collectives on public art events and studio projects. While also being involved as a volunteer in cleaning and revitalizing an unused warehouse and turning it into studio and performance spaces for artists, which is now known as the headquarters for Creative Labs. A number of his paintings and sculptures are currently held there on display . Jorge is currently working as a T-shirt designer based in Maryland by day, and a freelance designer, live painter, and music producer that goes by Moss Head at night in the Baltimore art scene.
