As a founding partner of Luff Law, Patrick Luff maintains national recognition for his instrumental role in winning multi-million dollar victories for plaintiffs. Luff famously won a $15.4 million wrongful death judgment and a precedent-setting federal appeal, while also leading the charge in Paraquat Products Liability MDL consolidated. Patrick served as Co-Lead Counsel in the Texas MDL No. 2021-41903 (Winter Storm Uri Litigation) and on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in MDL No. 2974 (Paragard IUD Products Liability Litigation). Patrick remains active in the Mass Tort community through litigation and speaking at conferences.
Before founding his private practice, Patrick taught legislation and statutory interpretation, civil procedure, and administrative law at University of Oklahoma, Arizona State University, and Washington and Lee University. In 2013 Luff served as a visiting scholar at Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg, Germany and later earned a Ph.D. (A.B.D) in law at the University of Oxford.
