Tucker Merrigan is a partner at Sweeney Merrigan Law, LLP along with his brother, Peter M. Merrigan, and his father, Thomas T. Merrigan. He represents individual clients throughout Massachusetts and the U.S. 

 

Merrigan’s practice concentrates on cases involving personal injury, defective medical devices, dangerous drugs, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, and insurance law. In both 2015 and 2016, he was named a Top 40 Under 40 Trial Attorney by the National Trial Lawyers. 

 

Merrigan earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University. As an undergraduate, Merrigan was captain of the Varsity Men’s lacrosse team at Tufts, earning All-American and Scholar All-America honors. 

 

He then went on to graduate with Dean’s Honors from New England School of Law. As a law student, he served on the board of the Student Bar Association. 

 

Merrigan is currently a member of the American Association for Justice, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Boston Bar Association, and Massachusetts Bar Association. 

He serves as a Big-Brother in the Big-Brother Big-Sister foundation of Greater Boston.
