News Break 1: 13:32 to 14:32Lets take a brief break for some music news.

Last Tuesday night, Kesha took the stage at the Kia Forum in Inglewood to perform a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" with Chevy Metal, a covers band that was led by the Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

During her performance, Kesha had a wardrobe malfunction and overcompensated for it by singing too loudly which caused her to hemorrhage one of her vocal cords. Despite the blunder, Kesha put on an impressive show and was one of many talented singers and musicians who participated in the six-hour fundraising event in honor of late Foo Fighters drummer Hawkins who died in March at the age 50.
