Nowlege Music is a young singjay who hopes one day to make his voice be heard in the dancehall/Reggae scene both locally and internationally. Born Jerome Foster on December 11 in Westmoreland Jamaica, Nowlege move to Portmore where he attended Bridgeport High School, that’s where he discovered his passion for music.” Music has always been a part of me I use to love going to church on Sundays just so I could sing in the choir and when I’m not singing I’m playing the drums”. Inspired by artists such as Assassin and Beenie man Nowlege was introduce to a couple of guys who owned a studio called PG13 STUDIO by Dwayne ‘Hauntid’ Campbell, that’s where he spent most of his time writing and recording. After 3 years Nowlege migrated to the US to attend college. He majored in Audio Engineering but he never stops chasing his dream of one day becoming one of dance hall heavyweights. Over the past 4 years, Nowlege has recorded a number of singles that have been getting some great views on various internet radio stations and around the Kansas City area. One of the most popular is “Reggae Music” which has the reggae lovers in Kansas City in frenzy. While working on his style and his delivery, Nowlege has done a number of shows opening up for some of the industry’s best such as, International recording artist Shaggy, Sizzla, Tarrus Riley, Kiprich, Serani, Tanya Stephens, Capleton just to name a few. So far this year Nowlege has collaborated with Red Square Recording artist Xyclone on a track titled ‘Di Future’ which is also getting great feedback from fans. I’m focused right now, I been doing this for a long time working hard and putting in the extra time and making all the necessary adjustments for my musical career, plus the support I am getting in Kansas City right now is tremendous and I’m just riding the wave” Nowlege has his own style to bring to the industry. Working with various local producers to get that one hit that will take his career to the next level.
