X-Men Origins: Wolverine

August 19, 2022 09:00 - 1 hour - 90.2 MB

Ryan and Brent are joined this week by Don Pudlowski as they discuss the first of the Wolverine Origin films. What was meant to be the start of multiple Origin films just turned out to be a bit of a dud. But that doesn't stop the guys from talking about the movie, what they liked and having several beverages along the way. This film has 3 of the most popular X-Men (introduction of Gambit & Deadpool), what could go wrong?! Is Wolverine as good/bad as the guys remembered?

Punisher: Warzone

July 15, 2022 09:00 - 1 hour - 81.2 MB

This month the guys watch and discuss a very controversial Marvel film, Punisher Warzone.  One of the worst reviewed Marvel films has a lot of issues, but entertainment and boring is not one of them! The movie gets ridiculous in all the right ways and the guys are pleasantly surprised. Frank Castle might actually shoot more guns than he has lines in this film.

The Incredible Hulk

June 17, 2022 13:22 - 1 hour - 97.8 MB

What a difference a studio and a director make for the "Big Green Guy."  The MCU's Incredible Hulk had a low bar to clear after the roughness that was Ang Lee's Hulk. Join the guys and special guest Don Pudlowski as they discuss the MCU, the movie itself and if they feel the Hulk needs his own standalone film. We crack a few beers. but don't worry. we don't get angry. Although some listeners like us when we are angry.

Iron Man

May 20, 2022 09:00 - 1 hour - 102 MB

We Made It!! Finally getting to the MCU after a year and a half of going through the highs and lows of early Marvel movies. This month the guys talk about the millionaire playboy philanthropist with a heart of Arc Reactor.  AC/DC brings the sound, RDJ brings the humor and poor Terrance Howard talked his way out of the most financially successful movie world. I AM IRRRRROOOONNNNN MAN

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

April 15, 2022 09:00 - 1 hour - 72.8 MB

One of the few sequels to fall short of the original, so far, in the Marvel catalog. A classic character in the Silver Surfer is introduced but can he make in impact on the film? This is the last movie before the MCU starts up and not a moment to soon!

Spider-Man 3

March 18, 2022 09:00 - 1 hour - 55.4 MB

We are right around the corner from the MCU starting with Iron Man. But until then, the guys will settle for one of the most famous super heroes, Spider-Man.  The final Tobey Maguire vehicle (well until No Way Home) and the first attempt at Venom.   Will Spiderman-3 age like a fine wine or will the guys need to have extra drinks to enjoy the movie?

Ghost Rider

February 18, 2022 10:00 - 1 hour - 79.7 MB

Nick Cage. CGI (he paid for?). Marvel. What more could you want from a movie? This month, the guys welcome Brandon back to the show to watch and talk about one of the more outside the box Marvel movies up to this point (and maybe since). Will they love it or need more drinks to get through it?

X-Men: The Last Stand

January 21, 2022 10:00 - 1 hour - 87.7 MB

The Last Stand for the X-Men? Well not entirely as there have been 7 X-men movies since this 2006 "Final Stand" came out. (9 if you want to include the 2 Deadpool movies).   The chapter closes on the team that brought audiences to see super hero movies. Some classic new characters are introduced and others say goodbye (for now).  Did the guys enjoy this one? Sit back, relax and crack open a cold one!

Fantastic Four

December 17, 2021 10:00 - 1 hour - 77.9 MB

If you were to obtain one super power, what would it be? To turn into a bunch of rocks? To be able to go invisible? To be able to stretch your arms as far as possible? Well ok, probably not that one. The guys are joined by Cody this week as they dive into the 2005 Marvel Film Fantastic Four. Now it might not be the greatest Marvel movie, but it sure as hell beats the 1994 version as well as the most recent remake in 2015.  Sit back, relax as the guys go off topic more than one time and w...

Elektra

November 19, 2021 10:00 - 1 hour - 94.2 MB

The sequel nobody wanted, to a movie that nobody really cared for gets a plot that is held together with duct tape and spit.  We are only a couple years away from Robert Downey Jr saving Marvel. The guys crack open some beers, watch and discuss Elektra on this month's episode.  Is this a Christmas Movie? Why are there so many spin moves? This takes place where?  All these questions and more will be answered!

Spiderman 2

October 15, 2021 09:00 - 1 hour - 105 MB

With the MCU about to open up the multi-verse, it is a perfect time to revisit a classic, in Spiderman 2. Ryan and Brent welcome back fan favorite Radz to the show to watch one of his favorite Marvel movies of all time. Will it hold up for Radz? Will Ryan and Brent mark it toward one of the best movies they have seen so far?  So sit back, relax and crack open a few.

The Punisher

September 17, 2021 09:00 - 1 hour - 77.7 MB

No guests this week and that is a shame because Brent and Ryan watch the fun, "good bad" movie, The Punisher. From cheesy dialogue to fun fight scenes to weird over the top set ups (hello skull fire), the Punisher has everything you could ever want.  Oh yeah and a great early 2000s soundtrack that transports you back to high school (well some of us). Travolta is over the top as ever and Thomas Jane is doing decent work.  Crack open a drink and enjoy one of the underappreciated Marvel mov...

Blade Trinity

August 26, 2021 15:28 - 1 hour - 93.8 MB

Sorry guys! Technical glitch, the sober part has been added. Marvel was a few years away from the MCU and Iron Man but it was definitely on fire with Blade Trinity (and not in a good way). A movie that when you hear the backstory, you would be shocked ever saw the light of day. The guys welcome Brennan back for this month's drinking movie and he is one of the great fans of not just this franchise but specifically this movie.  Ryan Reynolds, Jessica Biel, Patton Oswalt, Dracula and Trip...

The Hulk

July 16, 2021 09:00 - 1 hour - 75.4 MB

No, it's not the Edward Norton one. No, Mark Ruffalo isn't in this one either. Yes! Lou Ferrigno is in this but no, it's not that one either.  This month the guys watch and talk about the Ang Lee version of Hulk. Words cannot describe how the guys felt about this Marvel movie and they do not hide those feelings either. Not even Sam Elliot could save this movie. Sit back, relax and crack open a few (or a lot) and enjoy going back and shitting all of The Hulk.

X-2: X-Men United

June 18, 2021 09:00 - 1 hour - 61.6 MB

The podcast's favorite mutants are back for their follow-up 2000 movie.  The guys reminisce about the how they used to enjoy this movie so much, but does it hold up? Wolverine, Cyclops and Storm are all back but add Nightcrawler and Iceman to the mix this time around. Crack open a few cold ones, sit back and enjoy as Radz and the guys drunkenly review X-2.

Daredevil

May 21, 2021 09:00 - 1 hour - 74.5 MB

The guys have been fairly lucky so far when it has come to Marvel movies. Although Blade disappointed a bit, there has not been a terrible or even "bad" movie... until now. Daredevil is the film of the month as the guys welcome Brandon to the show to enjoy some beverages and none of the movie. Well, Colin Farrell is leaning into the camp but that is about it. Will this movie be better after a few drinks? This movie is literally Batman.

Blade 2

April 16, 2021 09:00 - 1 hour - 70.3 MB

Brent and Ryan welcome Brennan to enjoy some beverages and a sequel that is far superior to the original (sorry Brennan), Blade. After visiting Blade in the first episodes, the guys try to put back the pieces of a disappointing film and hope this one is better. The action is ramped up and Wesley Snipes actually has more than 10 lines of dialogue. Since Blade is a vampire... does this movie suck? Consensus is, it is pretty damn good!

Spider-Man

March 19, 2021 09:00 - 1 hour - 110 MB

Marvel's biggest cash cow got its first movie in 2002. Over the last 19 years, Spider-Man has had 2 reboots, 3 different actors, 7 movies across 2 studios... but this is where it all began. The guys welcome Radz back to the show to discuss the biggest Marvel movie to date. What did they get right? What could have been different? Does it hold up?!?! The guys crack open some drinks and see if this "classic" still holds up, or if a few cocktails are needed to enjoy it.

X-Men

February 19, 2021 10:00 - 1 hour - 119 MB

Radz joins Brent and Ryan to talk about their favorite X-Men, sober; before walking through their movie review drunk. X-Men has always held a special place in the hearts of 90s kids. The cartoon has long been considered one of the best super hero adaptations and put any potential movie in an interesting spot to recreate the magic. 2000's X-Men was the first attempt of bringing the beloved characters to the big screen. But does this Marvel "classic" hold up? With amazing characters like W...

Marvel's Blade

January 22, 2021 10:00 - 1 hour - 112 MB

Welcome to the maiden voyage of Marvelously Drunk! Brent and Ryan welcome Radz to the show to talk about the first Marvel movie of the modern era, Blade.  The conversation kicks off about Box Office and who the studio originally wanted to play the main characters. Then things get weird as the guys come back, after watching the movie and having many beverages. What was good? What was bad? Does it hold up better or worse when you are drunk?  Can a few beers make Blade a must-see Marvel m...
