Kay, Quincy, and Hakim dissect what the Russo brothers brought with their Marvel directorial debut of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (genre-mashing). Captain America = more dark. Story-wise: he's darker because he's questioning leadership. Visually storytelling: elevators dropping into the dark. "They were going DOWN a lot." Bromance = is this how guy's make friends? By working out with each other/spotting? Black Widow not being romance line great. Why did it take Black Widow to get her own movie? Do we need Captain America 1? Hakim's citizen take: this is a perfect movie. Quincy puts on earmuffs again. Quincy's citizen take: this is the longest and most expesive TV series in the world. Kay's epic battle. to Quincy misses after credits. Bucky is so still! Nick Fury's van needs an eject button, and it was written for Samuel L. Jackson. Kay's citizen take: in an alternative universe somewhere, Samuel L. Jackson IS Nick Fury. Self-pat: comedy people can do everything!!! + comedy/horror/action go hand-in-hand. Don't stack the elevator with Capt. Nah. Chris Evans is a Boston guy who does comedy. Kay and Quincy try to explain to Hakim what an awning is. Kay knocks it out again with a Phase 3 connection. Hakim's pigeon balcony problem + imprint. Went to a day spa + CBD oil. Quincy pooped in a hole. They swap chapstick paranoia + favorite brands. Quincy and Hakim trade zombie apocalypse survival methods.
