2024 Super Bowl ticket prices will blow your mind
Super Bowl LVIII is just weeks away, and ticket prices have reached unprecedented levels. The lowest resale ticket price, or "get-in" price, is a staggering $9,850, according to SeatGeek. The average ticket price has soared to over $12,000, a 36% increase from last year.
TickPick also reports record-breaking prices, with a get-in price of $8,188 and an average of $9,815. The hike in prices isn't due to the halftime show, but rather the game's location. For the first time, Las Vegas, a favorite American travel spot, is hosting the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium.
Previous venues saw lower average prices: $8,907 in Glendale, Arizona, and $10,322 in Los Angeles in 2022. The high stakes add to the excitement: a win for the Chiefs would cement Patrick Mahomes' legacy, while the 49ers aim for their first Super Bowl win since 1995.
