On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Discoveries!

Comprised of Josh (drums), Chris (vocals), Evan (guitar), Trey (guitar) and Mark (bass), Discoveries is a metal band based in Roxboro, North Carolina, which is located about an hour north of Raleigh.

In October, Discoveries dropped their latest single entitled "Tunnel Vision," a hard-hitting song which tackles suicidal thoughts and how depression can warp one's view of reality. The single has amassed over 19,200 Spotify streams since its release, while the accompanying music video has racked up nearly 7,000 YouTube views. Additionally, "Tunnel Vision" has received several reaction videos, including one from heavy music influencer and promoter Hardcore Keem.

On this episode, Mike talks with the dudes in Discoveries about how they each got into heavy music, the formation of the band and their sound, making the music they love without focusing on specific metal sub-genres, mental health and the meaning behind "Tunnel Vision," their forthcoming EP entitled Masochist (due out in February 2023), and more.

This episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman also features the aforementioned "Tunnel Vision" from Discoveries, available where you get your music!
