Execution Day is a metalcore band from Berlin, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. Since the band's formation, Execution Day has built up a following which continues to grow. Their 2017 cover of Logic's "1-800-273-8255" has amassed over 742,000 streams on Spotify. In August, Execution Day released their latest EP, Illusions, which has topped 300,000 streams and counting on Spotify.


On this episode of the pod, Alec talks with Mike about Execution Day's formation, their sound, influences, Illusions, being vulnerable in their lyrics, persevering through the Covid-19 pandemic, and more.
