FRIDAY THE 13TH MARATHON

After a brief hiatus, Jason has returned.
Or been remade, more accurately.

This Friday the 13th remake is fierce, violent and much darker than what we've seen before. And no longer is Jason campy - he's terrifying. We get some appropriately killable teenagers, and one of the Supernatural brothers to round it off.

But does the remake actually make for enjoyable watching?

Rhys and Kane explore this late 2000s comeback for Jason Voorhees, theorising that the poor man just wants to grow his own marijuana in peace - but stoners come to encroach on his crop. The boys welcome the new take on this killer with broken arms and a bleeding heart.
