Dead to Sin, Alive in God

Believers should not continue in sin just because they have received God's grace. Instead, they should embrace the new life they have been given through their baptism and union with Christ's death and resurrection. Believers are encouraged to resist sin and its passions, and present themselves to God as instruments of righteousness, remembering that they are no longer under the dominion of sin, but under God's grace.
