David is the author of the book, "Dishonor: One Soldier’s Journey from Desertion to Redemption," where he shares his personal story of redemption and hope. He is a Cosmetology Instructor in Omaha, NE, and he's here to share his life experiences and insights into how he overcame his past mistakes.

Early Life:

David grew up in a family with limited resources but plenty of creativity. His father was in the Air Force, and as a result, he had the opportunity to live and travel to interesting places. David joined the Army right after high school, but unfortunately, he got into trouble and ended up getting Court-Martialed and sent to United States Disciplinary Barracks in Ft. Leavenworth, KS, for three years.

David wrote this book to share his story of how God used his time in prison to get his attention and how he found redemption and freedom from his past mistakes. His book is a vulnerable and compelling look at a life gone wrong, and he gives insights into prison life and the shame that comes with living a dishonorable life. David pleads for you to find the same redemption he found in his life.

David found redemption through his faith and his wife's love and support. He talks about how he turned his life around and started anew after his release from prison.
