Daniel's Prayer Pt. 2

In today's message Pastor Danny Parga continues in the Book of Daniel 9. Daniel is in the Medo-Persian Empire now under king Darius during his first year as king. At this point Daniel is about 80 years old and it has been about 65 years of Israel captivity. As we started last week Daniel is moved to pray for his people by the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremaih the prophet concerning the seventy years of desolation for Jerusalem. Verse 2.

“Moreover, I will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the grinding of the millstones and the
light of the lamp. This whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. Then after seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, making the land an everlasting waste.” Jeremaih 25:10-12

Today we are going to focus in on Daniel’s prayer and the confession he makes to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
