Born in Taipei, and raised in Southern California, she earned her BFA from UCLA and MFA from Calarts, also received the Ahmanson award and distinguished art fellowships from Skowhegan and Atlantic Center for the Arts, created a 20 foot commission for the Annenberg Foundation Office on Avenue of the Stars, and exhibited at BVLGARI on Rodeo Drive. She has written arts coverage on the Venice Biennale, Basel Art Fair, and Shanghai Art Fair. You can contact her at angel-chen.com.
