Michael Llewellyn – 'Whangamatā'

Michael Llewellyn is a 'Rhaspy and Poetic' songwriter based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Influenced by The Velvet Underground, KEVIN MORBY, Leonard Cohen and the likes, Michael's vulnerable and smokey melodies pack a punch.

His first single, and our Making Tracks feature of the week, 'Whangamatā' is bouncy and wild. A psychedelic induced road trip that will throw you beneath the summer skies of Aotearoa.
