Welcome to Season 3!  If you love what we are doing, please continue the conversation in our closed Facebook Group!

Making Money Moves is  brought to you by Janet’s List, hosted by Janet Oganah and Adonica Simmons. The aim of our podcast is to open up conversations about money, mind-set, and the moves people have made to build successful businesses. If you are a female entrepreneur, a high impact woman or are simply looking for inspiration, this podcast is for you. We interview inspiring guests, mostly women of colour, who are building incredible businesses. Our guests will also share tips and strategies, which you can apply at any stage of your entrepreneurial journey.

As we have been away from a little while, Adonica and I decided to have a lovely little chat to introduce Season 3. We discussed 2019, keeping the balls afloat, dealing with unexpected circumstances, practising self-care and of course MONEY.  We also reflected on previous podcast episodes (Maggie Semple, Tahlia Gray, Collette Phillip/Harriet Minter and the practical actions we took from these podcast.

We also discussed the popup - Adonica asked Janet lots of questions about this.  Janet discussed planning, a bit of 'behind-the-scenes' stuff, our favourite pop up shop moments.  Janet discussed the PR we received. the incredible process of working with fave Deborah T Johnson and fabulous team work and expertise. Ultimately there are no shortcuts. Janet needed to do the work to increase the probability of getting press coverage and the incomparable Deborah brought in her expertise and advice that was needed.
