This week in Episode 455, we have two great “Frank” interviews! First up, it’s the return of creator Frank Gogol from Grief, No Heroine, and Dead End Kids, all from Source Point Press. Frank has a new comic coming called Dead End Kids: The Suburban Job, which is described this way: “Seven years after the deadly events of September 11th, three teens struggle with the long-term fallout of that tragic day. But these former friends are brought back together when they find themselves in the crosshairs of a local drug dealer who’s out for blood. Can they put their personal traumas aside long enough to work together and survive? No Heroine’s Frank Gogol reteams with Nenad Cviticanin for an all-new entry in the Dead End Kids saga.” We’re talking before this book hits the November Diamond Previews, so let your local comics shop know you want it when it becomes available. Frank is a fast-rising star in comics, so be sure to check out his website as well as his social media entries, including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook!

Then everything wraps up when I interview Frank Martin, creator of Modern Testament: Anthology of the Ethereal, about his new horror comic book, The Macabre Motel, which is available now for support here on Kickstarter! Here’s how the book is described: “A Twilight Zone-esque episode about a trip to see a girlfriend, a detour to a motel, and the weird guests that refuse to let you leave.” He’s well on its way to meeting his goal, so expect great stretch goals to happen soon! This Kickstarter will conclude on Wednesday, October 28, at 11:59 p.m. EST, so be sure to back it as soon as you finish listening to this podcast!
