Can naturopathic medicine play a role in our current crisis? How could this role change the trajectory of the pandemic? How is patient care different for states that license naturopathic doctors vs states that do not? And how do NDs play a role in research? We discuss all of these things and more in this episode of Mahan Health.

IN THIS EPISODE:

I interview my esteemed colleague, Dr. Robert Kachko.

Robert Kachko is a Naturopathic Physician and Licensed acupuncturist, practicing in New York City.

Dr. Kachko is the current President of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and past board member of the NYANP. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and Acupuncture Institute. He’s received additional training in clinical hypnotherapy, biofeedback, and somatic experiencing and incorporates these mind-body techniques to help his patients connect more effectively with themselves and their own needs.

Dr. Kachko is also Co-Founder of TribeRx, a comprehensive biopsychosocial approach to chronic pain that utilizes peer support and technology to help patients feel better understood and more effectively supported.

When not working, he loves exploring Brooklyn with his puppy Maya and a good audiobook, staying active indoors and out, and spending time with family and friends.
