On this episode of made to measure we are joined by Tara Barnes.

Tara is Commercial Manager on one of the largest construction projects in Australia. Having studied a Bachelor of Law at Griffith University and after a career in the corporate world, Tara found herself in the dust and dirt, working in a huge mine site in Western Australia during the mining boom in 2012.

This is an incredibly inspiring episode and I found myself feeling energised and motivated listening to Tara’s story as she is also an Indigenous Australian Female and she spend a lot of time and effort promoting work place diversity and inclusion within the Construction, Mining & Heavy Industries sector.

As an Irish man, it was so inspiring to hear Tara’s story of finding out about her Australian indigenous heritage and how this has helped shape her purpose, life and career moving forward. It was also incredibly inspiring to talk to someone with so much passion and zest for the industry, I know this will motivate and encourage so man people in the sector.

I really hope you enjoy the episode.
