"I wanna pull out the gold in people that they don’t see about themselves.” I feel like Ivanna is one of ‘those people’ that could probably do anything if she decided to put all her efforts towards it. She is an incredibly hard worker, with one year left on her double major at Teacher’s College, and at the time of this interview was working part-time in Youth Ministry (which really means full-time). We talk about why she wants to be a teacher, or a youth pastor, and it all boils down to this desire to encourage people, or as she says, to ‘pastor people’. "It has nothing to do with the math and has everything to do with encouraging and empowering.” When you love being around people, and you truly enjoy all the opportunities being offered to you, how to you figure out what you’re simply made to do while also making room for rest in your rhythm?
