Previous Episode: Sharing Your Dream

Bruxy is the teaching pastor at the Meeting House in Oakville, Ontario. He is leading a movement in the Canadian Church and is loving every minute of it. Yet, what I love about this interview is his humility in the process, he’s simply been interested in taking the next step in front of him along the way. He takes what is given him and makes the most of it while he’s in it. Throughout this conversation we talk about Bruxy’s homelife, we dig into his current ministry and career as teaching pastor, and yes we get into what exactly that means to be a ‘teaching pastor’ within The Meeting House model of church, then we spend most of the time talking about what Bruxy calls the ‘plot-twists of life’... Maybe you’re caught up in trying to plan way ahead and all you need is to take the next step. Maybe you are stuck because you feel like you have multiple areas of interest and all you need to do is try something! Maybe you are in fact interested in being a pastor and Bruxy’s methodology and philosophy of church might inspire you to move forward and do something good and fresh. Wherever you’re at in your journey, I know you will love this conversation and be encouraged to take a step towards what you’re made for. - Be open to the plot twists - Listen to what other people see in you that you might miss yourself - Give yourself permission to fail

“How can we help each other be the best version of ourselves?”

Bruxy is the teaching pastor at the Meeting House in Oakville, Ontario - a church for people that aren't into church. He is leading a movement in the Canadian Church and is loving every minute of it. He takes what is given him and makes the most of it while he’s in it.
