Welcome to Made for Music. Today’s friend of the podcast is someone I’ve known for quite some time. He began drumming at the age of 3, and has been tearing it up on the kit going on 14 years now. He joined his first band when he was only 10 years old, and has been performing around the greater pacific northwest ever since. In high school he performed in his school’s symphonic wind ensemble and jazz band (for which he was first chair) – and even won “best soloist” at the East Shore WMEA Jazz Festival in 2015 for his performance of ‘Foom, Foom, Foom’. His band is currently gearing up to release its debut studio album and embark on its first ever tour this summer.
Please welcome, one of The Weeknd’s biggest Stans – winner of Bellevue Christian’s “Most Improved” in 2013-2014 – the drummer and cover art artist for Deify – my ADHD brother and bandmate Jared Byargeon.
