On July 4th, we present a history lesson/jam session with A Tribe Called Red. Bear Witness, DJ NDN & DJ Shub are Indigenous producers who flipped traditional PowWow music with electronic sounds, creating a powerful style all their own. Dan & David caught up with ATCR on 14th & U Street in Washington DC before their show at Tropicalia. As is our style, this show is packed with music, but it's much more than a jukebox piece. Topics of discussion include the 1968 riots, Canada's Indigenous civil rights struggle and native lessons for achieving harmony with the earth.
