In the immortal words of Robert Kelly: "I don't see nothin wrong...with a little Bump n Grind." We here at maDCap agree wholeheartedly, and so does David Fogel of the music and events company 88DC. Along with partner Joe Liehr, Fogel had a vision for his hometown of Silver Spring, Maryland, that included an expanded bump program and robust grind capacity. Now, "Bump n Grind" is no longer simply a description of your sweaty Saturday, it's also the name of a new spot for coffee, music and food at 1200 East-West Highway. maDCap stopped by Bump n Grind's opening day to offer our support and to speak with David Fogel about this "quintessential third space."
