I’m Susan Schwartz, your drinking companion, and this is Lush Life Podcast, every week we are inspired to live life one cocktail at a time by the best in the industry.
With a father in the military, Shelby Allison traveled the world as a child, but has claimed Chicago as home now. Logan Square wouldn’t be the same without http://www.lostlaketiki.com/ (Lost Lake), the bar she opened more than five years ago to instant acclaim.
I was in Chicago for a small break and was able to meet her at Lost Lake. Five minutes after it opened, the seats were full and the drinks were ordered. After taking the first sip, I now want Lost Lake to be my local.
