How A One-Way Ticket Can Change Your Life

Whether someone gives it to you or you buy it for yourself, a one-way ticket out of town can, in some cases, mean the end of one life and the beginning of a new one. In our guest’s case, this was the start of something great. Landing in London, the light turned green and he was off.

I met Tomáš Čistý when I was invited to interview the participants of a cocktail competition last year. The cocktail he created blew the judges away. After a ride on the rollercoaster of his life, as he calls it, he is now on the brake run, slowing down before another double dip might appear ahead. He’s now settled as Bar Manager of the private club https://12hayhill.com/ (12 Hay Hill) in London and Brand Ambassador of https://thewreckingcoastdistillery.com/ (Wrecking Coast Distillery) in Cornwall, and loving it.
 
The Cocktail of the Week is the Cornish Highball:
INGREDIENTS 
40ml Wrecking Coast Distillery Scurvy Gin
10ml Green Chartreuse
25ml Lime juice
20ml William Fox Oak Moss Syrup
100ml London Essence Soda

METHOD
Add all of the ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice
Stir
Drink
