Dayna spent years on radio and television in the Houston area. She created the first NASA online retail operation, becoming an executive with NASA aerospace contractor SPACEHAB. Dayna followed that as a popular business success speaker and the author of eight books as well as the host of The Rock Business video series highlighting rock star entrepreneurs. Dayna was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2010.

Dayna is a 25+ year resident of Seabrook, Texas (in the district) with her former NASA pilot husband and first generation Cuban-American Dr. Charles Justiz and has three sons and a daughter-in-law.
