Most of what we think and feel is socially constructed (11-14-22)

Do you feel guilty about something? That was likely socially constructed. Do you believe strongly in something? That was likely socially constructed. Much of what we think is us is really the product of our society.

Alexander Layko says: "When someone is "racist" we're told it's because their parents and society must've somehow internalized them to be that way. But when someone is anti-racist it's because "ideology-less free-thought prevailed". Sigh. The fact is everything in life is an ideology and social construct. Anti-racism is just as much of a social construct as pro-racism."
