#22: Recognize and Appreciate

For this episode of the podcast, we start things off with Funk Flex's comments on Cardi B and her lyricism. We debate if Cardi B's lyricism or lack thereof makes her a terrible rapper and we give our takes on terrible female rappers and how she can or if she can redeem herself with the comments from him. Next, we talk about the 3 hour 4/20 Verzuz concert (not battle) between Method Man and Redman and how it delivered laughs, an emotional tribute to both Black Rob and DMX and mostly the songs that were performed. We give our hot takes on the whole concert and what we wished Method Man and Redman could have performed. With the Verzuz telecast, both men said loud that we (the audience) need to give rappers their flowers and respect while they are alive due to DMX's passing (April 9), Black Rob (April 17) and now Shock G of Digital Underground (April 22). We give our picks or groups and artists on who needs more respect from everyone. All that, plus laughs, a late 4/20 One Gotta Go and more!
