That Time I Didn't Even Try

Are you brutally hard on yourself sometimes?  If so, I'm right there with you.  For most of my life, I have been my own worst critic.  I do not let myself off the hook easily.  And it's very rare that I give myself a break.  But as moms, we have to remember that sometimes, the most loving thing we can do for ourselves is take the easy way out.
