Leo Wong is a native of Yunnan, China, the actual birthplace of tea. Like, literally where tea was first cultivated. He was so inspired by the history and the health benefits of tea, he started his own business, sourcing loose leaf tea directly from sustainable, women-led farms.
In this conversation, we talk about sleeping on a farmer’s floor; the cultural implications of re-steeping tea; why that tea bag ain’t what you think it is; and so much more.
So find out why Leo loves Chinese tea - and why you might learn to love it, too!
