In this podcast hosted by ACOL facilitators Lynn Kidd and Laurel Elstrom, Cindy Stroud answers the following questions:

1) What does love mean to you?
2) When I consider how you are in relationship to your friends and family, what it looks like is that you give your loved ones complete freedom to be as they are, but you also give them your energy and really listen to what’s important to them. Is that what’s happening? Is it intentional?
3) What is the most important thing for you in your personal experience which fosters authentic, trusting relationships (no matter what form the relationship may take)?
4) Do you ever feel as if your own needs are being neglected because of how much you give to others? Do your needs come last? Do you ever put yourself first?
5) Whenever I get with my family, they seem to see me in the same, limited role they’ve pushed me into since childhood. When I’m with them, I think I’m able to overlook it, but later I catch myself feeling resentful and hurt all over again. How could love be the answer to the way my family treats me?

Cindy Stroud and her husband John Mark Stroud offer the "Beyond Belief into Presence" series and commentaries on movies with spiritual messages on their website: https://www.onewhowakes.org

LOVE IS THE ANSWER is a podcast that explores the POWER OF LOVE in real life. We look for answers to the problems we face within our lives. What if the solution is right within us? What if LOVE is the answer? In each episode, we ask our guests questions related to ordinary life situations, and let them share their experiences with living from love.
