True Crime Tuesday | Ohio Women Arrested for Abuse of Corpse After Driving Dead Body to Bank | Douglas Lehman

In today's episode of Love and Murder: Heartbreak to Homicide, Ky dives into the weird and unsettling case of two Ohio women charged with gross abuse of a corpse and theft after allegedly driving the corpse of an 80-year-old man to a bank to withdraw money from his account. The story begins on March 4, when police responded to a 911 call from the Ashtabula County Medical Center reporting that a deceased elderly man had been dropped off with no information. The investigation quickly led authorities to 55-year-old Loreen Feralo and 63-year-old Karen Casbohm, who had been living with the deceased, Douglas Lehman.

Loreen, who had been in a relationship with Douglas for seven to eight years, and Karen, who had moved in a few months prior, claimed they found Douglas dead and, with the help of a third person, transported his body to the bank to withdraw approximately $900. They then dropped his body at the medical center and left. Despite their claims of innocence, surveillance footage and a recorded phone call revealed their knowledge of Douglas's death before the bank visit. Both women have been charged, and the case remains under investigation.
