Today, I covered S1E11: Brad Mitzvah, which aired on January 12, 2022.

In this episode Brad works through his nerves preparing for his bar mitzvah speech; Dean ends his friendship with Keisa when Charlene tells him he can't be friends with other girls.

I really enjoyed this episode. Couldn't stand Charlene and her demands on Dean especially when it came to his friendship with Keisa and felt that it would have been nice to meet Brad's parents since this was about Brad's Bar Mitzvah.

We did meet Brad's Aunt Ruth who turns out was a survivor of the Holocaust (Kim takes notice of the letter and number sequence on Aunt Ruth's arm) even though it wasn't mentioned in the episode or explored.

I also played some clips from The Wonder Years Season 2 Birthday Boy episode where Paul has his Bar Mitzvah.
